the arrt, totally! honeysyn is def one of the best drawn online comics I've seen and doesn't follow that typical screentone-happy style. :)

Uh...Well...

The art, the story, the dialogue, the characterization, the drama, the cute, the serious...

All of it? xD

It's perfectly delicious. That's what's so freaking wonderful about it. <3

I have the honeydew syndrome. 9_9 fo'sho.

I saw it first on Gaia... Thought it was cute and straightforward. It's also pretty consistent, which is sometimes hard to find in online comics.

I have a Gaia account, though I didn't find Honeydew on it.

The Number one reason why is the art. It's simply Godly. <3

Personally. Mine is an odd story.

A friend of mine who reads HoneySyn too and I are on another site.

Some girl had drawn a picture and she thought it was meant to be Metis from Honeydew Syndrome. So after seeing that, I searched Honeydew Syndrome and started reading it in one sitting.

That was way back when it was still at smackjeeves. Then it started two a day updates, and then saturday updates.

That was actually way back with chapter three, I think. Before the backstage crew chapter. Lawlz.

Good memories. ^.~

I can't think back and figure out what drew me in. I just read one of Dual's posts on lj and after reading her ranting a bit, decided I should check it out and see what its all about... ^^;

Needless to say, I'm still here, and I'm nearly obsessing about HoneySyn. My friends just might decide they're sick of it and abandon me sometime. Just to get me to shut up.

I love the art. And the story. And the dialogue, too. Like, a lot.

...and now I'm one of them people who trudge through the week waiting for the next update to come on Saturday evening, wish that Saturday would come faster, read the one page, squeel uncontrollably, and make my entire family (if they're anywhere near-by) ask "What's she on?!", and then repeat the entire thing. And I love every second of it (Except for the waiting. I hate the waiting.)

YOU GET IT SATURDAY?? T.T Lucky bastard.

I was browsing around on a midterm weekend and felt a BL craving. So I browsed around.

I found it, I downloaded a couple chapters, had this sorta, "Hey, this is cool," phase, AND THEN THIS HAPPENED.

My friends make fun of me when I start ranting about this comic, usually because it gets to the point where I become incomprehensible. In fact, at this very moment I am ranting about it to my friend on IM. She refuses to read it. I propose someone force her so she can post her own thing on this topic. Y/N?

Dual's weekly rants about the latest page. After seeing all that capslock, it's hard not to be curious.

And then of course, I'm pretty sure it's the "May-just-got-mauled-by-his-own-bookcase" page that kept me going. xD

My friend was the one who suggested this comic (I got if off vices and devices - really liked the site's name XD) and I must admit that after the first few pages I thought I'd quit. Then came the class project assignment and bookcase scene... And those made me a fan forever. If I were to sum up things, what made me a faithful fan was none other than Metis. I absolutely love the guy!

Where I am, the comic is updated sometime around 5 in the morning... On Sunday! Sad so I have to wait an entire Saturday to read it. I started reading off the honeysyn site only since before the party (when the comic was still updating twice a week). And now, as soon as I read a page, I can't wait till next week for the new one!

I dunno. xD There were only like, two pages up when I first started reading it. I guess art? And the fact that it consistently updated, that too. That's a HUGE plus! Very Happy

I saw this back when I was looking for comics back at AarinFantasy. I was looking for something that looked like it was drawn by a mangaka, and it led me to HoneySyn! Heck, I probably was a big fan of HoneySyn waaayyy before it became cool and famous. Razz

DUAL. I BLAME DUAL. EVERYTHING IS DUAL'S FAULT.

The first thing I saw was the page of Josh kissing Metis. Then I have to start reading the whole page. And then I couldn't stop myself from reading anymore. I got into it. Pathetic, I know, but it's not when it's Josh and Metis and Charles and Jay and the whelk. D8

And besides, the art was really pretty, simple and oh so cute. The plot was quite a breather from the clicheness of the world. So yeah. In short, it's <3
