PG-13-ish (?)

I’m on the bed, and I’d be completely wrapped in darkness if it weren’t for the neon-orange-y light coming from outside. My heartbeat hasn’t slowed down to its normal, though my breathing has steadied; my limbs are still tingling, from shoulders to fingertips, from hips to toes; my skin hasn’t cooled enough for me to pull the blanket over me. I stare, have been for the past few minutes, at the shadows trembling on the ceiling and imagine they’re a bunch of people doing a rain summoning dance.
I see him with the corner of my eye, laying on his stomach, arms to his sides, face half-pressed into the pillow. He hasn’t moved since he slid off of me not long ago – which right now seems too long ago, because I already miss the heat of his body. I wonder if he’s dozed off, I wonder if it’s really true that one feels sleepy after –
He shifts the next moment, though, mumbles something I don’t understand and scoots closer, warm breath ghosting over my shoulder, before unexpectedly cold lips trace its roundness. I keep staring upwards; I just can’t find the nerve (?) to look at him. Not yet.
He lifts his head to draw wet patterns on the side of my neck, up to my jaw, with teeth and tongue, merely nipping, not biting, like he has been earlier. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t hurt. He left marks, I know it; they’ll smirk at me in the morning, when I check for them in the bathroom mirror. I hope they wear off until Monday; otherwise, Charles won’t stop teasing me about it.
‘Hey, Earth to Metis –’ he whispers, tickling my ear, as he splays a hand over my belly. I peer at him through the hair sticking to my forehead, that I’ve been way to lazy to brush away, and I smile at him, realizing my throat is too dry for me to speak.
‘What’s wrong?’ The white of Josh’s eyes is glowing strangely in the dim light, the same light that makes his skin seem more tanned than it already is.
‘Nothing –’ I reply, voice so raspy that I barely recognize it as my own. He pokes my nose playfully and lifts the curtain of black bangs that kept me from seeing him properly. Then he carefully wraps the blanket around me and I feel so – pampered. Who would’ve thought a dumb jock like him could be so caring and protective.
‘Listen, I’m sorry –’
I look at him, surprised. It’s his turn to avoid my gaze, as he keeps his eyes onto his fingernails.
‘What for?’ I don’t understand. Is he sorry for what we’ve done? Because I’m not.
‘For doing it here. I – it should’ve been somewhere more –‘he pauses, running a hand through his short, messy hair. I can’t help smirking.
‘Josh, don’t worry about it. You seriously believe I had time to think of that?! It was all about you, us. Nothing else mattered to me. Besides –’ I take in the motel room in a quick glance, then turn back to him ‘– it’s not that bad.’ (As if I could actually see much of it in the dark!)
He laughs lightly and kisses my forehead, before he drags me further down on the bed. We’re nose to nose, eye to eye.
‘I still can’t believe this is actually happening to me. If anyone had told me a year ago that I’d be here with you, tonight, I would’ve probably punched them in the face and shoved them into a locker.’ I snort.
‘Yeah, probably. That’s what jocks normally do when someone pissed them off, right? Or even without a proper reason.’
‘I want to make this – us work.’ Boy, that is so corny and his face is so serious that I can’t help grinning. He frowns, wrinkling his nose and twisting his mouth in a funny way.
‘I’m SERIOUS!!!!’
‘I know, but you sound so much like a girl!’
‘WHAT?! Well, I assure you I don’t punch like one, so, maybe, you don’t want to push your luck.’ he threatens, but his eyes sparkle with something totally opposite to anger. ‘Metis, I – I really, really like you.’ I kinda hate it that my heart does a little flip as I hear him say these words. I smile warmly, touching his cheek.
‘Hmm – what a strange coincidence. I might just feel the same way.’
After a few more kisses, we are slowly drifting to sleep. Suddenly, banging on the wall makes me raise my head, alarmed. Josh chuckles.
Then I hear it clearly: ‘Oh, God!! YES!!! Harder! MORE!!!’ OK, so erm, the couple in the room next to ours is doing the nasty. Which reminds me: ‘Oh, shit! Were we that loud, too?’ I’m embarrassed.
Josh shrugs and mumbles ‘Who cares?’ I slide once more into the nest of pillows and cover my ears with my palms. We both wince and sigh and curse, with no use, of course.
I couldn’t tell whether we were louder or not, but one thing’s for sure: they went at it WAY longer than us.

I liked the comic-y thingy.
Josh's expression in the first panel was aweshume.

And that last line made me giggle... a lot.
And you did pretty awesomely for your first attempt.
My first attempt at fanfiction were complete and utter crack about Harry Potter characters committing suicide.
'Kay, I was bored. >____>;
But yeah, I enjoyed it. ^.^;

You have a typo with 'SERIUOS'...
It's 'SERIOUS'.

i found some time to draw this crappy pic, in between writing on my diploma paper. bah!! i simply LOATHE school. it'll be over pretty soon, though. Smile

Wow, you're really good. O_O I love the checker-things on the shirts in the last picture...they all match up and stuff. x3 Reminds me of this other picture (of Matt from Death Note) where the stripes on the shirt all aligned with the stripes in the background. =D
