So I saw the latest page on Saturday and I thought, Hn, I need to draw. Badly.

So here's the first result:
A pretty manly Metis. Pretty rough sketch, but yea.

And then~~~
I watched the new DVD Justice League: The New Frontier on Saturday, and I was taken aback by one of the extras on the DVD. A preview for the BATMAN ANIME? Coolio~ It's called Batman: Gotham Knights and it's coming out around July mebbe, and it has 6 different stories/directors on the DVD, somewhat like Animatrix. So then this pic is dedicated to Batman <3

Yeah, I dun really draw bodies. I'll make up for it though, mebbe in a future sketch or something -_-;;

So yea, pretty fast update.
I wanted to make up for an icky Josh drawing I put up in the LJgroup... Anyways, I planned on just drawing Josh cuz I woke up one morning thinking about bare locker room guys, which shifted to Josh, haha. But because he looked so weird all alone... there's Metis (who I drew in a fraction of the time and now looks sadly better than Josh...And man, Josh took me forever to draw and he still doesn't look right!! ;_;).

Note 1: Superheroes have given me a manly man fetish, thus the muscles.
Note 2: Cuz I said the pic originated from a locker room scene, these boys actually have towels beneath the rest of the pic. I just cropped 1/3 of the image because I didn't like it. =/
Note 3: I don't know how to draw muscles/bones. But I like putting them on my drawings anyway. =P
Note 4: Damn you Foreshortening. Don't know how really, much less for foreshortening with bodyparts =[[

Somehow, I think Metis would scare me if he was muscular like that. XD

Anyways, here's a final pic (cuz I dun usually draw like this for more than a week, seriously =/ ), and that's pretty fast again right?

So in the middle of drawing this pic, I realized that I had done this drawing before... I looked thru my old internet accounts, and lo and behold!! The original drawing, done in 2005. Besides the hand positions, doesn't the difference in my drawing style perplex ye? O_O

I like how you do the bodies and the muscles. I'm really terrible at muscles and I don't normally do realistic proportions. Maybe something of a bad habit I've gotten into from reading CLAMP and stuff like this... with the long funny bodies..O_o

The first picture of May looks to me as if he's a few years older... late college years, maybe. Very well done with shading & lines & such. Very Happy

OoOo. I actually managed to squeeze out another fanart~ How very odd.

Whipped cream alone = Bleerrghhh~
Whipped cream + Metis = Irresistible?
Although Josh may dislike whipped cream, mebbe he'd like it with Metis on the side. XDD

I think I'm getting the hang of using pencils. I mean, for shading...
Damn my laziness... it's that hand on the table DX
