Title: “Hormones and Crickets"
Pairing: Metis/Charles [Aha. It's growing on me. >D]

Summary: 100 word drabble. Plot bunny given: "crickets" and "stars".

"HORMONES AND CRICKETS"

Metis opened one eye and squinted at Charles.

He was still, breathing softly. He lay on his back and Metis couldn't tell if the blond slept or merely was gazing up at the stars—he’d bet on the latter and that his friend was planning some way to take over Mars or Venus.

He sighed.

Fucking hormones.

First Josh, now Charles. He so did not have feelings for his best friend. Especially when he had a boyfriend. Named Josh.

“May. Please stop breathing. You’re louder than the crickets. Yes, I’m awake. No, you can’t kiss me.”

Metis made a face.
